Foods To Clear Acne

People are always asking what is the best treatment for acne? or what are the best home remedies? etc. But the truth is no matter what external treatment you use to clear bad acne and keep it from coming back you will also need to have a good diet to clear your skin condition.Without a good diet added with a routine to help get rid of your acne it can be very difficult unless you use medication, but that can have short term as well as long term side effects that many people do not want to risk.

Below is a list that I have created from my own experience with acne and others that I have helped as a trainee dermatologist to help there acne.

Acne Clearing Foods

1. Green Tea, Nettle tea etc – These teas are rich in many different beneficial elements that can help with acne such as being anti-informatory and beneficial vitamins and minerals.

2. Olive Oil – Foods such as olive oil contain good fats that are important ion skin health. Other foods that include good fats are sesame oil, avocados and fish.

3. Berries – All berries are beneficial foods for acne suffers as they contain a high amount of vitamin C and anti-oxidants which help to protect and speed up the healing process of the skin.

4. Yogurt –  that contains active cultures are very beneficial as they help to strengthen the organs which are an important part of getting rid of acne long term.

5. Water – Drinking 5 to 6 cups of water per day is essential for people with or without pimples. But for acne suffers it is extremely important as it helps to flush out toxins from the system which are a major factor in acne breakouts.

As well as adding the above into your diet you will also want to minimize foods that contains, wheat, dairy, bad fats and greasy unhealthy food in general.
