Acne is the scientific word for pimples. It is a skin condition, where slight eruption is visible on the skin. When the bacterium growing in the oil glands gets trapped, acne arises. The bacteria then irritate the outer layer of the skin, which in turn gives rise to the blackheads, pimples and whiteheads.

When a person do not wash the face often, travels and does not take proper care, chances of him/her getting acnes increase. A person’s hygiene plays a key factor in controlling the acne. Many cosmetics available help to reduce and control acne. However, they are not very effective and can harm the skin.

The persons diet is also important. If the diet is proper and healthy, then acne might not erupt. One must eat healthy food items, which are rich in fibers and minerals. One has to consume foods, which are rich in vitamin A, such as oranges and green leafy vegetables. It is essential if you hydrate yourself by drinking more water. More the intake of water, less acne eruption and the skin tone will improve.

Acne can occur on face, back or on any part of the body. Back acne has the same reasons of occurrence as the face acne. Back acne is generally thicker and has large pores than facial acne. It is difficult to treat the acne if one wears tight fitting clothes of synthetic material, which causes sweating.

Acne generally leave behind scars and marks, it is important if one does not squeeze the acne and does proper treatment. Take doctors advice if the eruption increases. Use cosmetic products that are of proper brand and do not have any side effects. Often the products that a person uses to get rid of acne dry the skin and reduce the natural oils.
